Treating moss without fixing the shade and moisture source it grows in means it comes back within a season or two. Resealing a skylight without checking the surrounding ventilation just delays the same fogging problem.
Budget-wise, a soffit and ridge vent correction on an average Bow home typically runs a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars depending on how much of the existing venting has to be reworked, while a full skylight replacement with proper step flashing runs into the low thousands per unit installed.
